Overwatch Taking Reign Event Pass: All free and paid rewards, challenges

The Overwatch Taking Reign event is now live alongside Season 5’s midcycle. This particular event is special because it lets players unlock a legendary weapon for Vendetta and a legendary skin for Doomfist. Here’s how the Overwatch Taking Reign event works and all of its rewards.

Overwatch Taking Reign event

Overwatch’s Taking Reign event runs from Nov. 3 to Dec. 7, giving players about a month and then some to complete challenges and earn rewards across 24 tiers.

What makes this Taking Reign event interesting is that it marks the conclusion of Overwatch’s first year-long story and brings Doomfist, Overwatch, and a defeated Vendetta to Rialto for a final confrontation.

Overwatch Taking Reign Event Pass rewards

The Taking Reign event rewards include an epic Sigma skin recolor in the Free Pass. Meanwhile, upgrading the Event Pass for 1,000 Overwatch Coins unlocks an additional reward track featuring the legendary Resurgence Doomfist skin, Vendetta’s new weapon, and more.
