A new era for AMD has begun today as the company officially crossed one trillion US dollars in market capitalization. This achievement places AMD as the world's 16th most valuable company by market capitalization, climbing up the ranks. This means AMD is catching up to industry giants and has become one itself, joining others like Broadcom, Tesla, NVIDIA, and Apple in the trillion-dollar club. Reaching a session high of $615.98 per share, AMD's value rose nearly 10% from Friday's close, when the company was trading at $559.91. For a company of this size, such a significant move in a single day is simply unbelievable.

Driving AMD's success is its strong product portfolio that is gradually being rolled out. Customers are purchasing millions of EPYC server CPUs, with the latest one being the 2 nm "Venice," while Instinct MI accelerators are gaining popularity for AI training and inference. AMD is also selling "Helios" rack-scale solutions expected to power gigawatts of compute across data centers, and its client business is looking solid as well.
